The competition and prizes
The series division will be based on seed time, regardless of age.

For all distances there will be prizes for numbers 1, 2 and 3 in the following age categories: under 10 years (birth years 2016 and 2015), under 12 years (birth years 2014 and 2013);
under 14 years (birth years 2012 and 2011), under 16 years (birth years 2010 and 2009); under 18 years (birth years 2008 and 2007); and 18 years and older (birth years 2006 and earlier).

The relays will be swum in two categories: under 16 (birth years 2009 and later) and open (all ages). For the relays, the oldest swimmer determines the category in which the race takes place. The finals will also be swum in two categories: under 16 years (birth years 2009 and later) and 16 years and older (birth years 2008 and earlier). For the finals and relays there are prizes for numbers 1, 2 and 3 in each category. The 4x100m mixed relay must consist of two boys/men and two girls/women.

Special Final
The program ends on Sunday afternoon with a Special Final. Swimmers can qualify for this by participating in one of the 100m events earlier in the program. The six swimmers qualify by means of a draw by the organization (1 swimmer from each 100m, supplemented with the overall winner of the 100m individual medley). In the final, the swimmer swims the stroke for which he/she qualified. The swimmer with the slowest time starts first when signaled by the starter. The other swimmers each start with a deficit equal to the difference in the time previously swum. The swimmer who taps first wins the Special Final. There are prizes for numbers 1, 2 and 3.

Overnight Stays
Amsterdam and the surrounding area are rich in hotels and youth hostels (“Stayokay”). Keep in mind that hotels in Amsterdam itself are relatively expensive. It is wise to look for a place to sleep outside Amsterdam (for example Haarlem, Heemskerk, Aalsmeer, Hoofddorp, etc.). The swimming pool is located close to the ring road surrounding Amsterdam, the A10, and is therefore easy to reach from the surrounding areas.
